I am sorry folks!! Ask any basketball person out side of the Big Sky and they will tell quite clearly, that the Big Sky is a Low Major conference no arguement period!!! Now, yes, each year the top program in the league generally can compete with with the Mid Major program in a given year, but if you are a team in the Big Sky you are a Low Major program!!!

had to register just to reply to this idiotic statement. last year the big sky was ranked 17th out of 31 conferences in RPI. The big sky is very far from a low major conference.

when were talking low majors, were talking about the SWAC, MEAC, Atlantic Sun, America East, Mid Continent, and Northeast. All conferences that are consistently horrible

Excellent post. It is easy to figure what's what basted on the RPI. Clearly the top third are majors, middle third are mids and lower third...you get the idea. The Big Sky is salty with Montana leading the way the past few years. I expect EWU will right there as well for the next few.
