They’ve swung and missed now on Kane, Lubick, Drevno, Wilson, and Mcendoo withdrew name too. They are after #6 now. That’s not great.

Yes, his record in the same conference and at the same school. That's about as un-risky as can be, unless a coach was aged well into the past-prime category.
How about keeping a coach who was offered the head job at San Diego St a couple years ago, with a 7-figure multi-year contract?

Well, with the time you'll be putting in, it'll work out to around $4.50/hr. BUT, if you do well, you stand a great chance of moving back up to a job pretty much exactly like the one you already have."
They could have limited the "National Search" to four square blocks in Bozeman.
