It appears that there are some irregularities in the possible recruitment of former UOP hoops star Steffan Johnson to Idaho. Johnson was apparently expelled from UOP for sexual assault. The recruitment issue somehow involves new Idaho head man Don Verlin, the brother of UOP assistant coach Ron Verlin. I'm not sure what the issues are, but discussion on the UOP boards are debating whether or not Idaho's Verlin is making rookie mistakes.
Sort of making me wonder if Johnson called him with a UOP-issued cell phone.
