Uniforms vs Idaho

Maybe whites should be a consideration just so we don't wear out the home unis. Only 4 true away games out of possibly 16 total games...it will be the 8th game of the year when the Griz travel for just the 2nd time...

Confirmed with somebody in the department that we’re wearing black on Saturday.
Fantastic. Now we need Monte to come out in a Sith robe to play on Idaho's "Stein Wars" post on x the other day 😂

Speaking of Monte, I have been meaning to ask because I only heard that he is on a life-time ban from kittens stadium. What did he do and how long ago was it? Certainly it wouldn't have been something so adult as throwing batteries and full beers at people entering the stadium or they would have him over when the team is on the road to share in those types of wholesome family activities.

If I remember correctly....during the Krysko / Tinkle head coaching years he was at Griz/Cat men's b-ball at the barn in bozeman where they do rodeo and basketball games. He was fooling around and took a removable/temporary step/block at the bottom of a stairwell to the arena floor and ran around with it for a couple minutes before putting it back (no one got hurt).

The safety and security folks (and msu administration) whined and bemoaned that he caused a safety issue because removing that temporary step made the step from the stairs to the floor a bit further - which fair, could have been problematic if an emergency arose, but I dunno, maybe an engineering school would build things so that they don't have to have temporary steps, but that's just me.

Monte then made fun of it at the Griz/Cat football game with his OWN temporary step and carried a sign with it that said "I stole the step" or something like that. MSboo-whooo didn't like that either. No more Monte after that as far as I know.

Thanks for that, I never heard any account of it before. Just to clarify, is the barn what they used to call the brick? Same old arena?
As I alluded to first, it would seem much more urgent to address throwing hard or heavy objects at unsuspecting people below, figuring that it was someone's feeling that got hurt. If you've ever been hit with a AA battery you know it stings more than just a little bit.
Remember how Coach used to talk about them in his first tour, and they suddenly got enough of that and so he was admonished and told that it needed to be toned down. They ramped it back up again though in their little miny run and no one seemed to find a need to address it. Always a double standard.

And that's why Monte will always be the GOAT over Chump.

Yeah - the "barn" = Brick Breeden. Was just poking fun at it and calling it a "barn" because they do rodeo stuff in there. Which good for them, but makes for low-hanging ribbing.

Anyone notice how there new practice facility looks like a 4H barn on steroids? It’s taller than their actual stadium…..total eye sore. The bubble looks much better in my opinion.
