6pm on ESPN+. A chance to get our first road win of the season. The Panthers are playing good ball right now. We'll need to bring our A game tonight. If we don't win tonight, we likely won't win a road game until conference play. We gotta get this one.

I certainly feel this game is winnable but we gotta play defense and shot in the 30’s from 3. I think Moneys game is starting to come back.
I’ve been critical of Whitney’s lack of aggressiveness but these last couple of games he’s been terrific. Even making 3’s.

Team is not as good as some think. Scoring droughts, poor defense and unforced to’s. I also think a few players are selfish; taking bad shots rather than pass it.

Pretty shitty defensive performance, especially in the final 4 minutes. UNI is doing whatever they want to us. Offensively we’re not doing bad but we’re just not getting stops. Bradtke got cooked early and then we started leaving guys wide open for 3 when they’re one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the country. Not sure we can overcome this deficit. Better come out with our hair on fire in the second.

Havent invested in espn+ this year so haven't got to watch much. Finally found a stream..what I have seen...typical down by 18 and being 3/14 from (often wide open) 3s and other team has 9 threes...hmm 3x6 is 18...interesting and typical Griz offense. ZERO upset potential cause very limited shooting potential. Decures plan is always play bully ball, out muslcle teams and get to rim any you dont event need to be good a shooting flawless consistent strat vs Sac State...against non-BSC team or god forbid NCAA Tourny teams lose by 25...nice!

I’ve seen 5 plays where Money has thrown a pass while driving- all fumbled. Guys with no court awareness.

There’s no doubt this was our worst defensive performance of the season, but even then they hit a lot of contested shots. This is one of the most impressive 3 point shooting performances I’ve ever seen. I really wish we hadn’t played such a tough road schedule. I’m worried about us having shattered confidence going into league play. Things aren’t gonna get any easier with San Francisco on Saturday. Offensively I didn’t think we played that bad. We attacked the rim, we shot over 50% from the field. Poor night from 3 but that’s nothing new.

Also I swear to god, we’re like the unluckiest team in America when it comes to catching teams at their apex. UNI was very shaky in November and now in December, they’ve won every game they’ve played by at least 20 points (4 games so far). I hope Kai Johnson is ok. He was holding his knee and I watched him limp off the bench at the end of the game. He had a good night!

I think we just gotta survive the USF game as best we can and work to get everybody as healthy as possible for conference play. We need Johnson and Jedkins both if we wanna make a run in league play. I really wish we didn’t drop the St. Thomas game. That was a killer.

I suspect Decuire and co will fix the defense. I don’t expect us to play that bad of D the rest of the year. I still think we have a good team, but man this has been a gauntlet of a road schedule. We need to address that in the offseason and get some easier games next year.

There is a reason I don’t bet. Tough night, but I am still very optimistic about this team. Regroup and compete again on Saturday!
What are you optomistic about? Top 3 in BSC? Winning BSC? Getting a Tourney Bid and Losing by 37pts FOR SURE? Non of those are bad season and things you can be happy with, but they are the HARD cieling of a Decuire team (without a trancendent player on the roster). Knowing that I find it hard to be optomistic.
