I cant speak for AG but he gets more right than he misses. He nailed Biermann years before anyone else and he knocked Wentsz out of the park. Adams really didnt do much at Oregon but he did lose some games and I think a bowl game so he has that going for him. Looks like the NFL thinks he is not worth a damn as well.

Biermann's last season for UM was 2007. That's going back a bit. Was there anyone on egriz that didn't think Biermann was great and would make it in the NFL.

No, he didn't get Wentz right. He said he'd be the first pick in the draft. He wasn't.

Adams did plenty at Oregon. No, he didn't lose a bowl game. Oregon had a 31 point lead at half time when Adams was injured. Adams led the Pac-12 in passing efficiency, at 179. Hogan of Stanford was 2d at 171. Goff was 3d at 161. Adams threw only 6 interceptions.

Tripp? Huh. Alpha trashed him constantly and said he wouldn't make the NFL.

Holmes and Jones? Huh, where did he support them. Everyone on egriz did, but I'm not sure Alpha did.

From what I am hearing......VA did have offers to sign an UDFA contract as several teams had interest...but he took so much time jerking teams around that they soured some on him and spent their money on others.....hence all he has now is a couple tryouts.....

he was attempting to leverage the offers against each other thinking a team would up the ante.....since he is the self proclaimed second best QB in the draft....no way they would all pull the offers.....

I bet you're right.

Like most people posting on the board I have seen both quarterbacks in person and have always thought VA was better. Obviously Vernon doesn't fit the NFL's ideal measurements, but when the pads are on VA can play pretty damn well. I think he will be a better pro than Wentz too.

Jeff Garcia was only two inches taller than Shoota. He started out in Calgary, had a decent career up there, and moved to the NFL. He wasn't the most fleet of foot, but played really well in San Fran and Jax, I think. And in today's NFL, a QB like Adams might have a shot(at someone-with a gun). No, he's a competitor and he could fit in well behind Wilson in Seattle. kind of hoping he sticks there.
