I know this is a Notre Dame page, but it really feels like this is starkly relevant here.

Oh good, another policeman of the fans.

Honestly, the board is mostly filled with optimism right now...everyone I know is ready to see what the team can do and feels pretty good about the season ahead.

No fan should be in a program they cant start the season with optimism--certainly this one. We have come a long way since all our expectations were justified year in and year out. The Stitt era has had irreparable damage to us old fans that were at the last Dornblazer games and justify our optimism on every possession started by Dave D. . However, as it stands today I think we go undefeated and win he national championship going away and Stitt sits second to only saint Don.
