UND coach search

Alum of UM, coached at MSU, ex Toronto Argonaut head coach.

Andrus is a former Griz QB. He has extensive college and pro experience. According to wiki, he was an ass't to CC coach Joe Moglia at the Omaha Nighthawks. Now that is ironic.
 
Oh ok. All I know is UND needs someone better than Moss____. I was bickering with a UND fan before the game this season and he truely thought they were gonna beat NDSU and have a deep playoff run. I shrugged it off and checked their board and just about every single fan thought they were gonna really kick some ass this season. Poor bastards.
 
Oh and talked about how great the cats were gonna be and how well they were gonna match up to them lol
 
Rumour from the media is Klieman is getting the job. Interesting, as I had heard he was one of the 4 or 5 offered jobs from Bohl? Rumours are always fun. The Bison people will love it if it is true.

The top 5 were going to leave but apparently they were able to pry him away, that will help the pain if it happens.

You, of all people on this crazy board, should recognize the difference between the Bison coaching vacancy and the Whioux coaching vacancy.
 
Andrus was talked about as landing at UM when Pflu was assembling his staff. Bart has just been fired by Montreal. I thought Andrus had a son who was going to be a Griz also, but didn't happen.
 
Andrus was also a coach who made a name for himself, building winning teams in NFL Europe. Not easy to take a bunch and players who have never been together and turn them into an efficient winning team in a couple months. Andrus was pretty good at it.

That would seem like a possibility, if he's interested in coaching FCS. I don't know who is left at UM that would recognize Bart if he walked into the athletic department and asked to use the phone. Haslam wouldn't. Dave Guffy is probably the only one.

Andrus is well versed in the Pro style offense, more so than anyone on the current Griz staff. He's also a proud Griz alum and owns a very nice home on Eagle Bend in Bigfork.

Sure wouldn't want to coach against him.
