UNCO leads the BSC in.....the transfer portal

If a player enters the portal and nobody picks them up, I assume they are SOL? By entering the portal, does it mean they automatically loose their scholarship?
I think that's up to the school they're trying to leave, but I'd imagine they'd lose their spot, unless they were some transcendent sort of player. I can't imagine we wouldn't have welcomed Toure back if he never found a place to play.

I suspect there is no difference between a new team and the old team. They'd have to offer just like a new team.
But the old team is relieved of any obligations it had to the player once he enters the portal.

I’m way more shocked they get kids to go there in the first place than I am them leaving.

The program is a train wreck. They hire a big name local legend with almost no coaching experience in hopes of boosting their attendance to 2,000 a game.

This no experience coach decides to fill his entire staff and roster of family and friends. Who also have zero experience. Add in the fact their coaches like to fight fans and their players are coached to play dirty and hurt guys; and you get NCU.

A complete clown car act show.

Yeah, I think you're right.

It’s a definite clown car act show there. Bummer for our esteemed peers.

Remember when foolerton was so desperate to show he made a good decision bringing them into the conference that he had the officials gift-wrap not one but two bsc (#bsc) basketball tournament games, shortly after which noco set all kinds of NCAA records for recruiting violations?

Good times. And not at all clown car act showy.

That was shortly after he recommended to the BSC member presidents that they pass on NDSU and SDSU membership. Justified fear that they would raise the competitive bar in the conf. Never a problem with UNC. He was to the BSC what Engstrom was to UM.

You might want to watch what you say about that program on this board. Unless you’re into gladiator movies.

It sure is easy to kick a man when he’s down. Regardless, happy Advent to you all.

It seems evident that even God believes NCU belongs in Division II.

After the past decade,I’m pretty sure he’s a huge NDSU fan.

But as a noco fan, you’re always down. And if we can’t kick you when you’re down, we’d never get to. And where’s the fun in that?!?
