Thanks for the respect! I can see something like that happening. We don't have a great inside game.

Good luck to UNC but this aint a couple years ago SDSU. They now have a coach, Fisher, who has won a Natl Championship with Michigan in 1989 if I am not mistaken. They will roll.

On another note, I always think it is a good thing when the Big Sky rep gets higher than a 16 seed so congrats UNC and shock the world!

My bad, I didn't know he has been at SDSU since 1999. (a post-posting edit)

Beitzal will get his points. Against Wyo, Colorado State and New Mexico State he had 20, 28 and 29 points.

IDK, man. Maybe he will. But please tell me you aren't comparing Wyoming, CSU, and NMSU to SDSU.

I'm not. My point is that he's a good player and he doesn't get "babied" by Big Sky refs. Those three games were not officiated by 'Sky refs. He's a pretty good player and the POY for a reason.

Beitzel is a very skilled player but he initiated the contact in the majority of the fouls called against the defense in the last two games. He either will be gone early on fouls or will be much less effective. He won't fake out real refs in the next game. NAU and Montana both got royally hosed by incompetent refs. I have been out of pocket since the game in Greeley so forgive me if I'm repeating observations by others.

UAB being in is a JOKE. How does Kansas State get in over Colorado?

USC should not be in over those teams either.

St. Mary's should be in...if they had won the auto bid, zaga would've gotten an at large.

Zags were not a lock for an at large, they haven't exactly lit it up in the NCAA of late, and they got their asses handed to them a lot this season.

I don't think Devon has ever fouled out of a game. You guys aren't giving him much credit. If his shots aren't falling he will get to the free throw line. That's part of his game.

I will give the kid his due, he creates contact, falls down, and gets calls...more power to him. He is tough as hell, isn't afraid to take a tough shot, and his desire to win is fantastic. That being said, San Diego State is going to kick your asses.

I have SDSU winning...the whole tourney. Deep, athletic, balanced, defensive. They are fun to watch. I'm also looking forward to see how Cam Rundles handles Jimmer.

He's also clutch. You guys know about that! As for that last blocking foul, even if it was the wrong call you would have still needed to foul him, other wise we run the clock down. Game over either way.

Uh no, you are wrong. We would have had possession down 2 with a chance to tie or take the lead. You may not have had the ball again. If you are going to spin it, at least be factual. There isn't an HONEST person who saw that play that didn't think that was a charge all the way. Of course, we know how many other times Beitzel pushed off to get spacing for shots, but he didn't get called, so be it.

Ok, I'm with you now. I agree. Good luck to you guys. Everyone was sure that Gonzaga would get slaughtered in the early years too...

I'm thinking UNC loses by 25+ and not more just because SDS will take their foot off the pedal early after they have the game in hand.

Its funny that you refer to those three games and make no reference to what he did against the two teams that actually made the tourney. He had two points against Arizona and 13 against Illinois. I wish you guys the best and will be pulling for you as I do for every Big Sky team in the NCAA tourney but I think this one is going to be ugly.
