UNC game thread

The complete inability to put a team away.

Playing not to lose.

Playing pensive in the last 5-7 minutes of a game.

Playing sloppy.

Inability to handle full court pressure.

Missing critical free throws.

Giving up large leads.

These are not the hallmarks of a great team.

I realize road games/wins are tough to come by, but how is it that this formula happens EVERY. SINGLE.TIME?

Trouble inbounding the ball against pressure.

Wow, 18 point lead at one point. I just don't get It.

Used to think Travis was a great coach. What has happened? They barely squeaked this out after having big leads. Glad the Cats have Sprinkle.

Frustrating, no doubt.

But nice to win on the road.

Mac played great, 15 pts, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. He also changed some shots. He helped on defense on one play and forced the guy to travel. Nice game Mac....

I used to think so as well. Now, not so much. No Griz lead, no matter how big, is safe. It's absolutely ridiculous.

GRIZ need to work on that press. Look to me like they could’ve had a couple easy baskets. But held back.
It is a good thing we had a big lead when they started the press.

With his years of coaching and experience, he should be doing this on a regular basis. He's been playing a long, long time.

Game ball definitely goes to Mac. He is the heart and soul of this team. You can criticize him all you want but he plays hard every game.
Congratulations Mac

My thought too.

The Griz did their best to piss this game away, instead of going for the throat and putting the Bears away. That included at least two 3-minute stretches where they didn't score a point. Frustrating to see.

Fall-back position: "A win is a win." Especially on the road.
