cats lose to Northridge tonight. Evidently they're on a round robin tour of losing to California schools no one cares about.

That game didn't even show up on their schedule on ESPN.COM earlier... I checked their schedule a couple days ago and it showed their next game was the Central Michigan game which is tomorrow.

Kind of surprised me to find out that they were playing Northridge tonight. Sounds like they made a good effort at the end to come back even leading with about a minute to go, but still managed to find a way to lose.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them go 0-9 or 1-8 in D1 games before conference begins Probably their best chances of picking up a win are against Austin Peay on Saturday in Michigan and Northridge at home on Tuesday. Hope they can at least win those.

After Northridge at home they go on to play @Wyoming, @Portland and @UTEP (with a couple lower division teams at home). Those road games could be brutal.

Yeah, the (first) Northridge game, the CMU and the Austin Peay games are all at a CMU tournament. I will admit I know NOTHING of Austin Peay, but I agree that after them, if they don't beat Northridge at home, the record is gonna look really, really ugly.

UNC Down two, 36-34 at half. Aggies big but slow & not a very good perimeter shooting team. Bears playing a solid inside-outside game. Well coached, unflappable, gritty. This squad is the equal of Weber St & the Griz. Add in NDak, & perhaps Northern Arizona (EWU has to prove they're legit) & the Big Sky will be a battleground this season.

This^^^^, don't think we'll see anyone go 19-1 in conference, looks like a real dogfight this year.
