UM vs. NM

Does anyone really think we can stay within 15-20 points in our game against the lobos? Watching their guards on youtubereally shows the athletic differences between our clubs. I hope we make a respectable showing but I fear we get routed

Good analogy!!!!

UNM is TOUGH and 12-3 on the road!!

what analogy?
yes unm is tough, that is why it would be an upset...but it can happen. just sayin'

One thing that would be very helpful tonight is if Qvale makes the close shots. He seems to have trouble putting in the easy ones underneath for a 6'11" player. He makes the tough ones though.

I think he is the key to the game. He will have to have a great game, as they have no one to match up with him.

Can this game please start soon? Like NOW!!!!!!! This is one long unproductive day for me. I scheduled this day off last week as soon as the GRIZ won, but could not get Friday off too. If I had gotten it off, I would have been finding myself in San Jose about now.

Honestly, in order for UM to upset UNM, some guys would have to step up who, heretofore, have not done so with any consistency. Qvale and McGillis in particular. Qvale needs to go strong to the bucket and. Dunk. The. Damn. Ball. McGillis needs to shoot lights out and help draw attention away from AJ and Stauds.

Yeah, we could do it. And we could lose by a lot.

That's what makes it fun!

You are spot on about Qvale. He needs to get much more aggresive, and not sit with the ball in his hands thinking about a move. He needs to feel his backside alot better, and make a move now. He tends to wait to long, and let a double team set up, then he makes a move instead of kicking it back out. He also has a serious problem of bringing the ball to his waist, and or taking a dribble before a move and gets it stripped. The problem is, these are things he needs time to work on, but we need them tonight. Good luck Qvale and the Griz! Kick some LOBO ASS!!!!

Insert "Selvig" in place of "McGillis". We need to save Jack for when its time to start hacking Hardeman who shoots under 50% from the foul line. If Jack is taking ANY shots, other than put-back offensive boards, we're screwed. The offense runs through AJ, Selvig and Staud's and Cherry needs to drive, draw and dish/finish strong.

Help please. Internet link for Mick's broadcast. Someone deleted it from my search engine memory, and I am having no luck going through montanagrizzlies.com

Nevermind, I found it, but Deliah is on now. Will this be broadcast on the radio?
