Agree with whole post. Akoh was good today and certainly helped with FG%.
 
Really worked NAU in the paint, which is what this team needs to do every game. We need to work inside out. Let the buckets at the rim open up the outside shots. Happy with the outcome but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

All Road teams won today. The only surprise might be MSU, though they shouldn't be considering the talent of Hall. I think that game shows more how bad SUU is. But, at least our game against SUU is not a Noon start this year, right Everett? (Or was that Citay?)

According to the live stats, Egun played 2 mins and scored 1 pt. Don't understand that at this point in the season, since there aren't any injuries that i'm aware of.

The idiot doing the live stats also had brown making a 3 pointer, Dorsey making a pair and the Griz up 31-24..... stats were on stall for about 5 minutes at 7:31 while someone else cleaned up most of it.....

Well that would explain why ESPN showed the score tied for the last 7 1/2 minutes of the half!

Thats who it was. Thanks! I knew someone did it. Yesterday I could hear Strohman’s call on fastbreak baskets by our team but the replay was still going and so had no video.
 
couple of random thoughts. that was my first bball game at NAU and its as advertised, a real shit show of a place to play. I was reminded of NAU 20 years ago - they would start shooting the 3's as soon as they got off the bus. Credit to the Griz D for stopping that part of their game. Watching Travis coach is a real treat. NAU had dropped several 3's around the 8 min mark in the first and opened a lead, Travis called time out and blistered the paint with that ass chewing! Not only was it epic, it worked. The refs were a joke, as I posted earlier, I recognized the bald guy right away from the NDSU game. The NAU coach really got his panties in a bunch over the refs, he should have got T'd up a couple of times. This team is going to go far, they are a tight bunch and support each other, Travis is a great coach and this is going to be a fun ride. Go Griz.
