What's funny is the fact that FB out draws, performs, and surpasses anything done by our Bball team. Not to mention it probably brings in ten times the revenue that Bball brings in, and the vast majority of alum supporters, like myself, think Fball is much more entertaining. Hell, the FB team can fill the stadium and it's almost four times the capacity of the Bball arena... :finger: :moon: Don't get mad at me b/c the Bball team lost again, that's just the way things are sparky...you'd think you'd be used to it by now. Hell they barely made it over .500 this year. Besides, it's fun as hell yanking all the Bballer's chains about the obvious... :crybaby:

If they actually came because of the football team half the fans wouldn't start leaving two minutes before first half was over and they would be back before second half started. It does get kind of tiresome seeing the stadium half full start of third quarter.

The whole basketball vs football argument is flawed.
It's apples and oranges.
Basketball attendance is solely based off of the team's performance.
Football has an atmosphere and its almost a big event every home game. The ridiculously long stretch of success is a big reason for this, but I'd be willing to bet that 12,000 - 15,000 would still show up for a 0.500 Griz football team.
