UM vs. msu Predictions

I expect MSU to put up a decent fight, but the Griz will pull away late in the 3rd. The return of Gus will bring some stability to the offense and although Ty & Co will know whats coming, we will have the better athletes in that matchup.

Defense needs to step up and stop the run... period. I am sure Choke's strategy is pretty obvious, ball control. I say the defense is up to the challenge..

I also think their barely turned 18 year old QB is going to be a threat on the ground... the kid is dangerous with his running ability and speed.

Hopefully we contain the QB on the read option run... and also don't give up the long ball on a play action fake.

1) Yep. All game long, for 177 yards before subtracting tackles for loss that ended up giving the dynamic QB Murray 142 yards rushing.

2) Yep. The game sealing wide-open and uncovered pass that ended the Griz season. Even though I was shouting from the stands before the snap, "Watch the pass!!" :twocents:
 
Pretty astute observation on your part. Wonder what most folks would do when there are 11 defensive players on the line of scrimmage.
