...I know that the close losses have been discussed at length. The coaches have surely recieved the brunt of the abuse, and the fans of the team feeling a sense of WTF is going to happen this time.
This team shouldn't be in this position right now. I would say this is fair? Fact is we are. So what has to change? There isn't just one thing that you can point your finger at and say if we do this we should win. Of course the coaching needs to get better. I'm not sure it is fair to blame the playcalling. What do people expect with the personel we have n the offense now? We aren't going to be a passing juggeraught this year..Isn't going to happen. We can pretend that establishing some threat of the pass would change things..Fact is it isn't the running game that is losing these games. We are shredding it. It is the mistakes, the fumbles, the penalties, the poor situational execution.
Defensivley...It just seems like this unit flies around, makes plays. we just seem to not be able to make a stop in the most crucial moments of these losing contests. I don't know how to explain last week. You would think when you sack the opponents qB 7 times you are doing something right. When you force the opponent to throw it 55 plus times, you figure out how to cover them. I guess not.
I think we see more of the same. We continue to run it, and finally lock it down and play a mistake free second half...Griz win 31-20

We seeing how UND never loses at home I am thinking UND turns it around this week. Our defense will be better than usual and I predict the offense to be hot. Lets hope we see more fans than on homecoming.

Again, which Griz team is going to show up, and for how long? Then there is the coaching staff. Thats pretty well hashed over. Prediction, no. Its like a pickup game in the park, you never know what you'll get. I'll be watching, wearing my maroon-everything, and hoping.

My heart tells me the Griz win by 30. But my head tells me the Griz lose by 20. Sad I have no faith in the coaching. I like Mick as a person, but a head coach? I just don't want to lose to the Cats...
