I have heard that all 3 kickers are traveling. Greenberg has the highest percent made and is fastest to the ball (lower chance for blocked kicks) but only played in 1 college game.
My sense is that all 3 will rotate for the first 4 games and then one will get picked for conference.
It doesn't really matter who starts, as long as kicks are made.
We should expect 100% on PAT's and 85% on reasonable FG's IMO.

85% on field goals...?(W.T.F. is reasonable for this crew ?) You can't be serious. :roll: If we hit high 60's this year it would exceed my expectations. Like last year, expect to LOSE a couple of games because of our weakness in this area. We came out on top the last decade + because we paid MORE attention to details vs the opponent... :egriz:

I quoted and linked 2 articles. The one you linked saying Lider would go to Wyoming, and the Wilson article, which contained the following quote (which I included):

"Early in practice Lider missed from 42 yards with a swirling wind. Sullivan and Harrison Greenberg hit from that distance and the former showed off his superior leg strength.

When the kickers took the field for a second time, all three hit from 38 yards with Sullivan showing the most lift. They moved back to 40 where Lider had his kick blocked, Sullivan was wide left and Greenberg knocked it through off the upright. Later Lider, Sullivan and Greenberg all hit from 43 yards."

Surprised you were not able to find these quotes in the Wilson article. It says that Lider msut 2 kicks, and the other kickers made all of their kicks. Now, let's year your apology.

I was at the practice. The article and bolded language was accurate--for Greenberg. Yes, the Wyo. transfer missed a kick. Don't think that undercuts my view that Greenberg has done better than Lider, when I've been watching.

Oh it doesn't undercut your view. I was just curious whether you would admit you were wrong (even if it was a minor detail). And fwiw, the bolded language was not correct because "kickers" is plural, and Greenberg is only person (as far as we know).

In addition, you assumed the mistake was from reading. That was not correct. It was from not remembering. Do you admit your mistake?

Bwahlberg, I like ur posts and read your analyses regularly and enjoy them. However, a shiny turd is still a turd no matter how much you polish it. In other words the comment of our offense was one of the better ones in the conf. Last year is a bit disingenuous. The funny ball bounced our way a couple of times, but a good offense, it was not....EWU had a good offense, Coastal Carolina had a good offense, you know....one that shows up consistently....we have special players under an antiquated and oft times mentally lapsed HC.....Mr. Let's kick off both halves and continue trying to run run pass punt....seems like the motto has been if it isn't working keep doing it instead of attempting creative, outside the box, unexpected plays. Basic tenant of keeping the opponents guessing, Mick, for all his attributes, is most definitely not a creative on the fly outside the box type coach...All of us will again be witness to mass frustration as he does nothing new other than try to constantly run when he should be passing to TEs, or even run several spread read offense plays, just to keep opposing defenses off balance then transition back and forth btwn WHATS WORKING...
