I gotta believe that the fact that we would be # 2 on season tickets sold in the Mountain West Conference, a mere 25 season tickets behind Boise State, 19,737 GRIZ, vs. 19,762 Boise, when Albertson's Stadium holds 36,000 vs. 25, 217 @ WA-GRIZ, has to raise some eyebrows in the MW about what future schools to pursue for conference membership, whether you favor us moving up or not. !!!
It should. In a streaming world, TV contracts don’t come down to the same isolated geographic based TV markets anymore. Fan base and support should be viewed through different lenses now and teams putting butts in the seats, especially when looking at the cost of our tickets versus other mid majors should raise the appropriate eyebrows.
Until there is a major shakeup to the structure of the FBS and group of 5 specifically this probably won’t change anytime soon.
Regardless with marketing, revenue, opting in and strong interest in the success of many programs at UM, our athletic department is in better shape than it was a a decade ago.

I was told by the bar in Billings that Griz fans are FED UP with the ticket prices and are tired of Bobby Hauck and his press conferences and are going to stop going to games unless something changes.
Must not be Griz fans buying up all the season tickets then? Interesting.
Very true however, if the Griz don't start planning for more seats in our stadium, MSU will pass us...

Clearly it's time for another expansion. Upgrade the west side press boxes and add another 2-4k seats.
Do they have a stadium expansion planned?
Unknown, but they are always trying to better us.

Yes but they would have to add almost 8,000 more permanent seats in order to surpass the permanent seating in WaGriz.
Key word: "trying"
Yes exactly. SRO and temporary seating are not the same as WaGriz and it's not even close.
