BTW,the school is "UOP." Our bogus president is trying to rebrand us as "Pacific," a completely sell-out move to avoid confusion The only problem is that this bogus rebranding generates the same problem with a D-III school in OR. The fans don't like it, and the least reason is that "PAC-IF-IC" doesn't come off the tongue as nice as "U-O-P." UOP fans HATE the "PACIFIC" moniker.

O.K. in order to avoid any further confusion, I'll just go ahead and call it as I see it, PU. That ought to satisfy everybody. One is UP and the other is PU. Alright already?

Besides which, who ever abbreviates for 'O' of 'of' anyways?

The Griz need to continue to focus their game plan around their
BIG MEN. When Brian Q was off the floor Strait was getting double-
teamed. No team can matchup with the Griz when we :shocked: have Hasquet, Q, and
Strait on the floor. Providing that we run the O and don't try to
win by shooting 3's.
Many teams can beat us on the perimiter; But not up front :shocked:

griz whiz: i obviously confused michael taylor with martha stewart, a confusion evident in my analysis of the pacific game. watch our point guards go for 30 assists tonight.

as for brent smith, i do remember him--on crutches, a jaycee transfer from northern california who spent much of his time out hurt. good player, but not engellant, and certainly no qvale, in my opnion.
