Montana and North Dakota are both ranked 1st and 2nd in Scoring Defense, Total Defense, and Sacks respectively. And by the numbers, Montana's offense looks fairly pedestrian by Big Sky standards, ranking anywhere from 6th to 10th in the main offensive categories.
An interesting stat to me is that Montana is near the bottom of the conference in Time of Possession.
You wouldn't really think it, but on paper, these look like two fairly closely matched teams. I think it could play out a lot like our game against Stony Brook game. Low scoring and points are going to be at a premium. Whoever gets up by two scores is going to be in the driver seat.

All well and good, except your OOC games are against Stony Brook and Robert Morris, while our are against Wyoming and NDSU. Hence the saying "there's lies, damned lies, and statistics." Griz by 17.

Good post.
I would also add a comment about TOP. Allot of the Griz scoring has come quickly, on big plays. They lost TOP in a 38-13 win over UNC. That is often an overrated, meaningless stat. See Oregon.
24-10 Griz

That said this is in their house and they are improved, so il say 35-17 griz. If griz come out flat I the second half, they'll definitely have an opponent capable of beating them in this one, however, if the griz play to even 1/2 their potential they win this one with ease. UND is still at least 2-3 years and some great coaching from being a top dog in this league IMO

Good points. Their defense is starting to look like defenses of UND years ago, unfortunately for them the offense is not good. Hard to look at last weeks game for either the Cats or the Sioux (they will always be the Sioux to me) ,with the wind and rain, for comparison. I expect a low scoring game, 20-10, or 17-10.

Serious question: Last year we put up 609 yards and 55 points on them in their house, winning 55-17 going away. Have they gotten that much better, or have we gotten that much worse?
