UM/NAU Game Thread

Can someone please give us a brief overview of what the staff said during the postgame show, since Learfield can't seem to figure out a way to move into the year 1989 and let those of us outside the State to listen to it.

The afternoon game had 2 great results, the Griz win and Sean Hannity was off the air for the afternoon! LOL Great job Griz!

two very good teams played a very good (albeit ugly at the the end) game.....too bad our Administration scheduled it at 1pm on a weekday....fuckin bullshit.....O'Day and co. should apologize to NAU, UM and every fan of their respective schools basketball teams....what a joke...so bush league...... what is the point??
with that being said....HUGE win for the Griz to kick off conference.....feel free to start the Will Cherry is better than Anthony Johnson talk now....because its true. GO GRIZ!!

Said that we gave them 4 or 5 open looks from 3 early on the game and gave them confidence from there on. Said it was a quality win by a young team over a veteran team. Even with limited time BQ was big in his 14 minutes and his presence was felt. Selvig was the anchor - in a good way.
Cherry has grown up. He's mad at himself and will probably be back tonight shooting free throws. He's not afraid to jump in people's diggers.
Everyone earned a day off.
Crowd was awesome. But Griz lulled them to sleep with the double digit lead. But they woke up when NAU made the comeback and were awesome.
Let's rally the troops and get out and support the effort on Friday. Start the New Year with a win.
Ebbed and flowed and found a way to gut it out.

Well, that is a good sign....When the Griz get to the line as often as they do,that means they are being aggressive and putting heat on the defense of the other team...they have a good record doing that, this year....This game was sort of out of character for the Griz..high scoring and less effective defense..but it is a great lesson and a good win....it will be interesting to see how Weber looks at this game and adjusts...slow it down, and the Griz win...speed it up and the Griz win.....love this..AllWeatherFan said:

Sorry, But the mens games should have been scheduled friday and sunday like 4 other big sky schools are doing. The friday game would be earlier than normal no matter.
