Here is the thing, it isn't just a BSC problem.

Actually, it absolutely is.

Sure, you see the occasional (not consistent like the bsc) poor officiated game happen in any conference. Hell, you can see it in the nba/nfl/mlb. They're human.

The difference is any other conference works to FIX IT! They take punitive action against the officials; they coach and teach the officials on how they want games called; they search for and bring in better officials next time.


The bsc: "Wow. That was shitty. Ahhh [*]f*** it. Our fans don't complain so we don't give a shit because we don't have to". And nothing ever changes, and we're subjected to games that aren't even worthy of watching

You do realize that the officials for BSC games come from the same pool as the other Western Conferences and they work games for other conferences also.

As clearly stated above (and as I'm sure you're well aware but it's more fun to be a dick), Yes, other conferences have SIGNIFICANTLY better refs. They also take action when those refs don't live up to their expectations. Of course, the bsc has no expectations for their refs, other than showing up for the game.
