The offense runs a TON better with Ellis out on the court. We've seen that all year this year. His on ball defense combined with his ability to get others easy buckets is something that will be missed next year..

Here's an idea: set up a game of horse between Bryan and any other guard or forward on the team... i'll throw down some money on that. Hell, Jordo, Cam, Martin and Stads could probably do it Gilbert Arenas style.

Ok, understand that i know this. He is an excellent drive, dish and defend guy. His only knock is as a shooter and THIS DOES NOT MEAN I THINK HE IS A BAD PLAYER or not one of the better players on this team.

I think (hope) it's a good sign the Griz are only down by 5 right now.

ISU --> FG:61.9% 3FG:40.0% FT:70.0%
Griz --> FG:32.3% 3FG:21.4% FT:53.8%

The Griz have shot terrible from the field so far this game, but their rebounding has kept this game well within reach, mainly thanks to Mayes (9 rebounds!!) and Hasquet (6!).

Hopefully the Griz heat up a bit shooting in the 2nd half and don't end up launching as many threes (3-14 in the first half). Getting Strait going in the 2nd half would be huge.

You didn't say it in exact words, but you sure imply it with your self promotion and slams of him in the same post. You just missed a great assist to Dlouhy from Ellis for a slam.

Griz are pounding the boards, great start to the second half.
 
Yeah... it never happened. I sure hope none of the Griz players use your reasoning.... "Gee, i really can't buy a bucket tonight... but at least I'm a better shooter than that guy in the third row."
 
Chavy just cost us big time on that FT. 4 points plus the missed opportunity, possible 7 point swing. Seniors cannot make those mistakes. Come on Mike, you are better than that!!
