Can you hear me now?

Good stuff Ursa, but it dates you. I doubt most of the posters even know who Maxwell Smart is.

True! I think we exhausted the entire 1960's sitcom phone gags in three posts. Don't forget that old bastard Everett Griz and his Laugh In reference.

I'd like to refute that, but unfortunately Aunt Bea's on the phone to Mount Pilot.

Besides, the professor made a cell phone out of a coconut for the Skipper.

Also, it's great for listening to the pre and post game shows. I just wish UM athletics would realize that we've got to be able to access it on our phone. Charge us if you must, but make it available on go, dammit!

Good idea and I agree. honestly, do you think they are prepared for that kind modern service? That could be a nightmare

Well, the technology already exitsts with a number of Apps. They'd just have to figure out the payment part. You can actually listen by smartphone on GoGriz.com now assuming you've paid your $$, but it is a pain in the ASS!

I think there is an app called "sound pup" that lets you listen to radio stations for free.

Yes, and I have it (along w half a dozen other streaming apps). But they simply use the web link the stations provide and during games those links are inactive because the Athletic Dept (Learfield) wants another $70 from us.

And yes, I'm old dammit!!

I just got off the phone with "Jack" of Connoisseur Media in Billings (represents several radio stations in MT including this ESPN 910, KBLG) @ (406) 248-7777 and discussed the internet streaming issue with him. I reviewed with him the current Learfield Sports practice of "blacking out" internet streaming of the Griz FB and BB game broadcasts/coaches shows from KGVO (and probably other Griz affiliates) and asked how this might or might not work with this Billings station. He said ESPN is in control of the internet streaming (similar to Learfield/KGVO I assume) and currently the same practice is in effect for these Griz events. However, he said they were presently in negoitiatiions with ESPN to acquire permission to activate the streaming for the Griz events. He expressed hope (confidence?) that they would gain this permission in time for football season (was expecting a decision sometime in June), but doubeted anything would be decided in time for the rest of the BB season.

Good news! Thanks
