UM has top players transferring in, Cats have top players transferring out

Which active Cats will make the NFL?

Again, Cats are losing many top players and are not replacing them, from the portal or otherwise. It is not possible to lose so many top players and replace them with players already on the team. UM is crushing Cats in Portal. Cats did well after Hauck left and in recent years until about 2023. Can Vigan recruit? I don’t know.
Wehr could get drafted and Moore will have a very good chance. I am interested to see what Danny U can do and Dru Polidore.

Yes cats lost talent but Vigen in a video that they don’t need to replace the 3 o-line transfers because they have 2 coming back from injuries as well as 2 big sophomores (also a UNT transfer who is a sophomore). Valdez was replaced by Eckert (wa st) who benches 415 and squats 615 last time I checked (just above Tommy). Besides that all other transfers were guys looking for more time.

Yes the gris got TONS of FBS players in the portal but as we know FBS drop down can be hit or miss. I think the gris needed to not only get lots of replacements for graduates but also needed to take advantage of the prior success and try to get studs. They did well and it will help them.
I think Vigen has done a fine job recruiting and this year I was most excited about Woods, two huge dl, and a rb from Washington who had Arizona, Washington, Oregon, and Nevada offers (helps when you run it well).

I agree that last year was the first year in around 5-6 that the gris were better. I think the next 3 seasons will tell fans how good Vigen/Hauck can do. I also think we will see lots of portal action from Vigen next year as the cats have a loaded senior team.

The issue is your use of the word “literally” which means exactly or actually, as in he actually transferred up a level and not down.

Google it. I promise you it does not mean, “the subjective guesses from some dumbass bubcatz fan.”

This feels like a modern day Abbot and Costello routine, only so much dumber.

I’ve got to believe there are other bubz reading this who are so embarrassed by how dumb this guy is. Like the worst rep of bub nation ever. Poorcatz, wbtfc, isuckthecatz, please tell me you do not claim this idiot?
Dude he transferred up for like a month?!?! McDowell was never a FBS qb and I think the gris could’ve really used him. A 3-9 temple team probably loses to the top 3 FCS teams. And now he is back at an FCS program that went 0-10.

By the way, I like mony. He does some research, but not enough. He provides some good info and on Cats. He’s not a jerk. He seems to keep his cool.
Thank you mthoops… I am not trying to argue but rather have a discussion with gris fans that know more than me about both FBS scholarships and their team.

You are yet to provide me with a list of gris players that could’ve transferred to p5 schools. All you have gone is argued with no facts on what I was originally asking…
I don't care to argue a pointless hypothetical with you. I know over the last few years there have been numerous Griz players that received P5 NIL offers and decided not to take them.

You've created this stupid exercise and have been unsatisfied with any of the valid answers you've been provided, that's not our problem.

Well tell me the past players and players from the 23 team. My point is gris fans hate on the cats for having guys leave but I believe not as many gris players left because there wasn’t many that could’ve made the jump.

You have no way of validating whether any of our players had offers, so again, who cares?

Sorry it's so upsetting to you that our good players wanted to stick around, or that your team lost to a bunch of guys who seemingly suck. You lose this argument either way lol

Who has been repositioned recently? Troy played hs qb and same with tommy. And offseason program is not lacking nor is the nutrition. Lots of players absolutely love our coaches, Vigen is no Choate but the assistants have loads of energy.
ASS't coaches have loads of energy...drinks spiked with Vodka...

Many cat injuries are directly correlated to a poorly designed and executed off season program. That's a fact - directly from a notable state booster.

All of the Griz players could have transferred to P5(4) programs. Look at the roster. There's your list. Prove me wrong (you can't).

Who had the skill… obviously if your a top FCS team you should have guys that are FBS talent… I am curious who could’ve made the jump. I know Wehr, Moore, Humphrey, White, Polidore, Grebe, Davis, McCullouch, Schmidt, Eiden have the skill to play FBS ball, with 4-5 able to play power 5.

Ok I’ll give you the players I think. Bergen, Meyer (maybe), and Wilson have the ability to play at P5 schools. But Meyer and Bergen are Montana boys that would rather be a gris than play for bama and Wilson just transferred from Hawaii. I just don’t think many gris had the skill/size to be P5 guys.

Provide me a list of MSdUi coaches who could have been arrested for DUIs. Not the ones who were; the ones who could have been. Thanks in advance.

Cool. You'll never know because they didn't leave, so . . . good talk.

Lol, good job at dodging the questions. Sam Mix definitely has some question marks. Name the coaches that boosted Hauck’s tackles. To be fair if I’d just beat my rival on college gameday 55-21 I might have some fun too. 😂😂

Didn't dodge any question. I provided you with a complete list of players as you requested, and you cannot do a single thing to disprove it.

This is one strange-assed argument to make about a team who went 8-4, lost to 2 teams the GRIZ beat, and lost the head to head 37-7

See? Why even give you a list, just for you to tell us "no, you're wrong because I don't agree"?

Who fucking cares?

Your team sure sucked last year despite having so many "FBS players" on it. That's gotta sting.

The only logical conclusion is that ours had more FBS-level guys on it.

bub logic: "our talent is waaaaaayyyyyy better. We can't win any games, but we sure have a had a coupla guys go sit on FBS' benches, so we're number one, I guess".

Griz have been better in more than just 2023. Griz have been doing very well with transfers and the Portal for several years. Not "hit or miss". Almost all hits.

Having replacements at o-line and otherwise is not the same as having first-team all-conference players and replacements. And, you know with o-line, there can be injuries.

Eckert was a walk-on at WSU who played in 1 game last season and got no tackles or sacks. He was a two-star recruit. "MSU offered a full ride scholarship to Eckert, he said. His only other offer while in the portal came from Division II Minot State." Will he even start? Sure, he's better than Valdez, who had a great spring at UW.
