UM donated $3000. I say thank you as a Cat fan, The cost to send the band is $300,000. Was glad MSU donated to the Griz last year. It is all good!Wait didn’t these ass hat Cat trolls go on and on and on last year how they saved the day and helped get our band to Frisco (even though it was 1% of the total $ raised then).
Where are they now with a thank you
Many spouted off that UM needed to beg their rival for help and were certain msu would never succumb to such embarrassment.Wait didn’t these ass hat Cat trolls go on and on and on last year how they saved the day and helped get our band to Frisco (even though it was 1% of the total $ raised then).

It’s the same thing that has happened frequently the last couple of years. Montana takes the media and PR bullet. MSU turns around the next year and brings in the exact same kid, scenario and there’s zero conversation of it. It’s becoming a theme.Wait didn’t these ass hat Cat trolls go on and on and on last year how they saved the day and helped get our band to Frisco (even though it was 1% of the total $ raised then).

Except last year you were mocking the shit out of UM because they needed to fund raise to send their band. Why so kumbaya now all of a sudden??UM donated $3000. I say thank you as a Cat fan, The cost to send the band is $300,000. Was glad MSU donated to the Griz last year. It is all good!
Aren’t all the kids at that school rich kids from the coasts now anyhow?I think it's fucking hilarious that the bubs have bent themselves into shapes that make pretzels look silly talking about how they're kicking UM's ass in everything and could pretty much buy Europe if they wanted, and yet here they are, begging for table scraps from the paupers like UM.
I love bands. I love the college experience. I also hope they don't raise enough to send their *band. It's only fitting for all the shit they've spouted the last few years. It's time to shut those assholes up.
*but all the band members can afford to go on their own and have the time of their lives.
I don't think there was any begging. The Griz President Bodnar said he was proud to commit financial support as the Bobcats did for them last year.I think it's fucking hilarious that the bubs have bent themselves into shapes that make pretzels look silly talking about how they're kicking UM's ass in everything and could pretty much buy Europe if they wanted, and yet here they are, begging for table scraps from the paupers like UM.

Odd (and rather telling) that that was the only part of my post you chose to address.I don't think there was any begging. The Griz President Bodnar said he was proud to commit financial support as the Bobcats did for them last year.
The MSU band will be in Frisco!

Yes, pretty lame and embarrassing on behalf of dUMb and their alumni.coloradocat wrote: ↑

Kind of pathetic that a team going to Frisco can't afford to give a little money to their band and instead has to come begging to their rival for donations.
Where was the gris when MSU started a campaign so the band could go to Frisco 2 years ago? it was an actual thing to raise money so they could go and we accomplished it. If you’re suggesting $3k isn’t a lot and nothing to whine about, why didn’t Bobby or daddy warbucks pony up the money? Typical response from a gris, hand is always out. The painting and dancing ain’t paying off for the gris grads.Griznationalist wrote: ↑

MSU probably didn’t anticipate there would be Bobcat fans whining about a $3,000 donation that covers the cost of fewer than two band members to make the trip. Most people, myself included, thought it was a nice gesture. Thanks, MSU.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑

I don’t know if there are rules for when teams can arrive at the natty, but I could see the gris going a day early, while MSU helps fund their band. I’m just saying, maybe.
Don’t like the look and I don’t remember the gris helping MSU when they needed it to go to Frisco. Use that money for anything MSU, why even make the gesture?
Yes, some Cat fans made remarks like that. I am sure there were Griz fans that made similar remarks the last time the Cats went to Frisco. I don't agree with those posts. I think the schools helping each other out is a positive thing.cat fans last year…what a bunch of fucking.

I must say, it's quite entertaining to witness the grizzlies' apparent struggles, prompting the flagship university in Montana to generously offer a mere $3k in assistance. One can't help but wonder what this says about the grizzlies' present and future financial stability that the athletic department needs such modest donations to fund an important part of collegiate athletics.

That little $3,000 gift is excellent PR for Montana State. It’s definitely hit social media and it paints MSU as fiscally healthy and well lead while implying the opposite of um. Even after a couple extra million dollar plus gates at the Mecca they are broke. They need Hauck to break into his vault and contribute a couple thousand to the band endowment. It would be some cheap goodwill for the university but not going to happen

I am fine with it because for $3000, MSU has received a ton of publicity. I have seen it on a lot of different news outlets. MSU comes out looking good, UM not so much.
