In national stats.

UM is slightly ahead of EWU in scoring offense (tied for 15th), and MSU in total offense (21st).

UM is 13th in fewest penalties per game.

2d in net punting.

7th in passing intercepted.

4th in turnover margin

5th in yards per completion; EWU is 6th.

3d in red zone defense.

11th in scoring defense.

5th in team passing efficiency (JJ is 7th).

Goodwin is 1st in passes defended.

JJ is 4th in passing TD's.

Henderson is tied for 3d in passing reception TD's.

I think Shaw would be 3d in punting, if he had enough punts.

Good gravy man, who gives a flying Fec at a rolling doughnut...you should really give up the stat jihad. Nobody remembers stats, they remember who gets the W...a smart guy like you should be able to grasp the concept.

That is not a national stat. This thread was started after looking thru the national stats. Feel free to start your own thread on conference standings. That would really be helpful.

We've lost "another" game. It's the only stat that matters to to bulk of Griz Nation... :egriz:

Exactly. Remember once upon a time when Denarius McGhee had better stats that Jordy Johnson all season but still lost to the Griz when they matched up? That's all anybody cares about, except for you of course.

This how ridiculous the scoring offense is.

All tied for 15th and do you think any of those teams compare to NDSU right now.

15 Montana St. 8 40 26 7 1 7 0 303 37.9
- North Dakota St. 8 41 39 0 0 6 0 303 37.9
- Stephen F. Austin 8 39 37 0 0 10 1 303 37.9
- Montana 8 40 34 1 0 9 0 303 37.9

My thoughts exactly gtcat. The only stats that matter are Wins and Losses.

Perhaps you should contact the ncaa to request them to quit compiling and publishing national stats. Also, the new media for referring to them and publishing them.

wow

you guys are a buncha fucking whiners... jesus change your tampons.

Thanks for the info, I think it's good to maybe reflect on positives instead of bitching for the next week.

As good as those stats are they would be even better if we’d feature JJ within the system he’s best at ... shotgun, option, hurry up. Whenever we do so you can see he gets into a rhythm and is more effective. IMO our tall oline is also better suited for the pass first system.

I agree. In all honesty our o-line is HORRIBLE at run blocking. Actually tbh they aren't THAT great at pass blocking either. I said in a post coming into the year that we should probably be a pass first offense. Delaney may not have recruited many of our players but it's better to use the players we have to their fullest potential and anyone with a brain knew that our receivers were incredible coming into the season as well as a great qb. Van and Canada are both great but Adrian Peterson couldn't do much with our shitty o-line.

Exactly! And thankfully the Playoff Selection committee takes national statistics into consideration for the playoffs instead of won-loss records.

I don't care what our record is, get Shaw some more punts so he is eligible to be top 5 in punt stats!

I'm sure you could play better than these young men have. You are a tool for trashing them.
