Ugly Game in Bozo

Delirious tackled for an 8-yd loss -- FG just got a lot harder. But only about 35 sec left.

Edit: FG made, MSU 43-35.
 
Cats' offense is SCARY GOOD!! Still, no matter how bad their fans won't to admit it, they have the EXACT same issue as the Griz right now, BAD in the secondary. Good win for MSU though. I say the Cats will be unbeaten when they come to Missoula. And yes, that means I think they'll find a way to get by EWU in Bozeman.

yes, secondary needs work but the major issue is the offensive line. I don't know where SFA fits into the scheme of things, but I imagine they are a lot like EWU. Thanks for the props, but I think EWU will have to have a huge edge on the cats. Long season left. Lots of things can happen.

Congrats on the win today. It's a great day for MT...taking care of business.

Secondary and OL are major problems for the Cats. Also, the lack of pressure their line gets when Minter/Daly are out is also a problem.
 
Actually I thought our secondary actually played really well (except for miscommunication between safety and corner on that blown coverage).

Not having Minter and Daly out on the field left the Cats really inexperienced at the DT position with a ton of first time starters. Our only experienced DT returning was Ashworth and while he gives great effort, he doesn't standout in anyways. Good game for freshman Dees and Sheridan to get experience.

It was a good game for our young o-line to get a ton of experience against a very stout defensive line from SFA. Glad we have a mobile quarterback...

Still have a lot of issues to work on if we want to do anything but it was a very good win.

No friggin' way anybody is going to go undefeated through the conference this year. That includes the griz and EWU.
 
I'll disagree. And FTR, I never said the Griz or EWU would go unbeaten in conference play, especially considering i SAID in the post you're referring to, that the Cats would beat EWU in Bozeman. Hence, Eastern wouldn't be undefeated in the Big Sky now would they? Anyway, you might be right, you might be wrong. You don't KNOW, any more than I do.

Of course, my strong opinions don't mean I know what I'm talking about. I just can't see anybody beating everyone on their schedule that late in the year.
 
I was driving around near the stadium in Bozeman on my way to T&C and noticed a big chunk of emptry seats in the end zone seating right before the cats' go ahead touch down. Did people actually leave early to party before the game was in hand or what? I thought it weird to not have a packed statdium with a game going down to the wire.

Last time I checked, eastern is on the schedule before um dumbass
 
My favorite part of last years football season was the end of the 20 total minutes
that the kittens were rate the #1 team in the Nation :ban:
