This is just crazy. I am sure that many schools will be dropping non revenue sports as a result of the virus. This seems a bit like Idaho and their ridiculous FBS dream and the huge paycheck Petrino is being paid.

Maybe those at the FCS level are best equipped to survive all this given their smaller overall budgets. A silver lining could be that schools finally realize the amount of money they pump into athletics is beyond absurd.
 
How does a school get away with running a $40 million deficit for a year? Do other schools get subsidized by states this much? This won't be able to happen now, with the impacts of C-19 on tax revenues, tuition, and budgets. Does U-Conn have much of a donor base?
