Thanks for that, Alpha. This shows that the problem is not just UM's, but is endemic in college communities throughout the country. I do not know if the UConn player provoked this attack. As far as I know, football players, esp., are segregated from their college communities, in special dorm areas, training tables, etc. I think it's time to integrate esp. football players in the college community in terms of dorm roommates & eating at campus dining halls, & things like that. What I'm saying is they should be like any other student on a scholarship. I think this would reduce a traditional animosity of many students toward football players. After all, these guys are not (theoretically) professionals, where signing a scholarship offer is not like signing a professional contract.
