ESPN is reporting that the U$C hoops squad has signed rapper Lil Romeo, son of Master P, erstwhile "star" on Dancing With the Stars. I guess they're figuring that the son of a guy who thought he could hang in the NBA was worth a schollie.

I think not.

Makes one wonder why U$C's baseball team never signed Garth Brooks' son.

This kid sounds like a pretty multi-talented type of person ... fluent in dance, music and athletics.

I'd say that's probably the kind of recruit that most schools would love to have.

And considering that we are talking about USC and not some podunk school that is just begging for attention, they wouldn't use a scholarship on the kid if he wasn't worth it.
