as a guy who's known brock for a long time and coached him...i REALLY wanted him. but that kid was gonna be a griz from 8th grade on as far as i knew. probably earlier.

CSU has really been on an upswing since Missoula's own Jim McElwain took over. I thought he made a mistake leaving Alabama, but then they win the New Mexico Bowl last year (8-5 record) and they are 6-1 this year with only loss to Boise State. Mr. Range could be going to a good situation, except I would bet McElwain will be gone in 1-2 years if he continues this success.

Fort Collins is a lot like Missoula, just closer to a major Metro area (Denver). CSU campus is absolutely beautiful. Also similar to Montana. Really not much difference in towns or campuses. The biggest difference in on the field is against better competition.
