Tyler vs. Baird

Does anyone else think that Baird should have had more playing time in this game? It seemed she was playing better than Tyler.

True, but you think she would have as many rebounds if she made the shots in the first place?

Baird had a great game, but the first time she came in she looked lost on defense, and didn't she take a 3 that missed badly? She played well when she came back in, but Tyler is who got you there and Robin had to be thinking how many more bunnies can she miss?

I would redshirt Tyler next year, unless we have a great post player coming in as a frosh next year.

wouldn't redshirting Baird make more sense, if you wanted to redshirt one. Why would you redshirt your best player returning?

I would approach Holly Tyler about a redshirt year because she has one available. Crystal has already used her redshirt year. I would rather have one of them each of the next two years rather than both of them next year.

Also, I know that Holly Tyler is an accounting student who is in a 5 year program (to get the CPA). Of course, Holly may not want to redshirt, but I would hope that she and Robin would discuss it.

I would also enjoy watching Crystal having the opportunity to be the go to person - I think she would thrive under the added pressure and be a much better player as a result.

Look for both of them to be in the game at the same time next year.

Selvig did say that he would have both on the court at same time.

I would predict Deshaser PG, Edwards SG, Mcleod or Keller SF, Tyler C, and Baird PF to be the starters next year.
