two thoughts on Griz win...

First, it appeared to me that Nevada played most of the game as if they were 'mailing in' a first round effort, almost if they expected the Griz to rise and fall...

Second, and the difference was the outstanding team play, remarkable inside offense and defense against their 'Mr Universe, NBA' inside man....and a terriffic job of game planning and coaching from Coach K...

I think what was different from this year to last (other than WA being loaded last year) was the Griz took control from the opening tip. Strait went at Fazekus on one end and Fazekus couldn't hit a shot the 1st 10 minutes.

I think that gave the Griz the confidence they needed.

That, and Coach K. I doubt we'd be where we are w/o him. Got a great team, but he puts it all together. :thumb:

the Griz players clearly out hustled the Pack also. it was clear the Pack thought they could get by on ablility and not effort.
