Two Griz players arrested

Sounds like Gamboa got drunk and started to be a tough guy. Picked a fight and threw a punch. Pled guilty to disorderly conduct. While I have done worse he probably should be suspended for the first game. Just can't be doing that as a student athlete.

Well put and the exact reason why many college programs forbid their players from going to bars, no exceptions. If they want to drink, the lesser of the 2 evils is doing so at private home, hang out, etc with friends.

Gamboa was at a private home and admitted to "getting rowdy". That was his statement to the judge. He screwed up and is paying the price. Will be a one-game suspension.

And of course not bothering to show to see the judge.

I don't see this as lack of respect. Respect for what? I see this as being stupid, like many kids, and probably lack of money.

Kose is about as soft spoken, respectful and humble a kid as there is on the Griz roster right now. A lack of respect is not the issue. As PR said, lack of money, maybe laziness or forgetfulness. But lack of respect for authority? UHH NO. He won't be suspended for the NDSU game. PERIOD.

True on Kose's demeanor but how does any 22 year old drive nowadays without proof of insurance and an updated registration? That's totally amazing....I can't imagine his uncle, Coach Legi, being too happy with his nephew right now.
