I'll just leave this here and let the bickering and nit-picking continue.

The player in question saw the tweet. Yeah he was upset at first. However it was announced publicly and to the team a transfer QB was going to be sought out to provide competition. He's using at motivation and not letting it get him down. Speaks to his character and drive.

Go Griz

He did not blame the player....he said that he played terrible....

I didn't expect anything less from you....you can twist it to meet your anti-Stitt agenda....but no where in that tweet does he blame the player....he says that he played terrible and he wants more competition....and that is funny coming from you....since you think Brady is so great and all....

Exactly....it wasn't a secret that they were looking for experienced player for competition...or that BG has struggled at times....or that the QB position depth was poor....the only thing that makes this an issue is because the tweet was seen publically.....if BG is the guy many think he is, he will use it as motivation....

Seems like the appropriate response. I'm glad to hear that.

Holy shit. This off season is going to kill most of us.

1) It was meant to be a private conversation. He effed up and it became public, that is on him and he has to deal with it. This is a far cry from him intentionally saying this publicly, and many here don't seem to understand the distinction.

2) Assuming that conversation stays private, he is doing exactly what he should be doing. His job as head coach is to be constantly evaluating and trying to improve. He said at his end of the year press conference that he wanted to bring in a QB with experience, and he is looking for one. Anyone implying that he is "saying this behind Brady's back" is crazy and either doesn't understand how competitive sports and recruiting works, or just doesn't like Stitt and nothing he can do will please them.

3) Everyone should learn and understand how to use twitter.

EDIT:

4) Bob Stitt has been here one year. Despite what some say, it was a good first year if we are accurately comparing him to other first year coaches both in and out of our program.

5) It isn't uncommon for some people to not like the new guy.

6) Giving a coach more than a year to prove themselves, and to get his players in to his system, does not make you an nonobjective fan. It makes you a realistic fan...

Maybe Stitt should have hired the Media Coordinator or whatever MSU hired...he seems a little technology-challenged.

Sure, tell it to that now former asst principal at Hellgate. She didn't intentionally send out an email to 30 parents containing confidential information on 1100 students, but now she's had to resign. Do you think she meant to do what she did? Ha.

Bobby isn't coming back, man.

Just let it go.

Exactly right. What Stitt said was 100% correct, it just shouldn't have been public. We need better qb play, whether that comes from Gus or someone new.

The affair with the principal on school campus was only a suspension...wonder if she meant to do that? They should have canned her that day.

I see 75 and his Cat buddies are trying to put words into Stitt's flubbed tweet. 75, isn't it pretty telling that everyone is laughing at your spin except for LTCF, BigSky33, and the other Cat trolls? By the way, where exactly does it throw BG under the bus?

You,re comparing apples to kumquats. What the asst principal did was a major FERPA violation; what Stitt did was bad form.

I thought our coach was renowned as an offensive genius and Twitter operator extrordinaire; appears neither is correct, your friend, yogi

Right. But there are hundreds of coaches who are much more competent and capable of being a D1 HC than this clown.

Put that in your sig line so I can laugh my ass off at you later.
