Geeze, how many threads is this about someone misplacing a tweet? Get over it people.

Does anyone really feel Brady is the absolute perfect QB for this run and gun offense? I sure don't. I give him all the credit in the world for what he has been able to learn in such a short time and I feel his immobility is holding the offense back. I see no problem with Coach Stitt looking to replace any player to improve the team.

Does anyone feel that next year's team has the "absolute perfect" player at any position? So, you think Stitt's offense is run and gun? Sure, everyone could be better with huge mobility, but making the right play calls, reads, decisions, throws, and getting the ball quickly to the right person--all in hurry-up fashion--is what Stitt has said is important. He's said that running isn't important. Except in the 2 games he threw 3/4 picks, I thought Brady was someone between good and very good. I don't care if another QB is brought in for competition, it shouldn't be announced on twitter. Unless some great prospect like Miller or Ochs or Brandon ? drops out of the sky, I doubt that someone good enough to beat out the present QB's will arrive by next fall.

The offense needs to improve and be more consistent, but I'm just as worried about next year's defense.

Kidder. Wherever they put him. First team BSC.

I don't know why everyone is upset. He meant to throw the player under the bus in private. He didn't mean to throw the player under the bus in public. I mean, really, he was only talking bad about Brady behind his back. Nothing wrong there unless you're a kid in school. Then that's bad. And look both ways before you cross the street.

Absolutely. I wonder why CDA is all of a sudden absent in this discussion? Oh wait, I remember why - it's because he always used to drone on and on about how Rob Ash used to throw his players under the bus. I sure don't ever remember Ash saying any of his players played "terrible". That is a bush league move and Stitt is proving on a regular basis that he currently isn't capable of leading your program. He may very well do some serious damage to your program that will take years and years to undo. :o

Right. But there are hundreds of coaches who are much more competent and capable of being a D1 HC than this clown.

Hired the wrong guy.

guess you think there was a better guy....

Well.... yeah. Hundreds of them.

not sure hundreds applied for the job...

Hundreds...

It's one thing to armchair coach reference play calling, schemes, and overall performance on the field. Its a whole different thing to armchair post season personnel moves. He is ripping off band aids...and some flesh will have to go. He's had a full season and now knows what it will take to win in the future.

Some posters here are taking this waaaaay to personally.

Maybe the players should tweet what they think of the coaches, or of the coaching performances in games, like NDSU. This is addressed at some of you that think the coach ought to open up competition and bring in lots of transfers. What do you think? Good idea?
Most of the players that are crying are too busy being offended and crying on their pillow........these are the players that we need replaced. It's time for men at UM instead of the prissy wannabes that have been suiting up the last few years.

He is right....there are probably hundreds....of course most of those already have higher profile coaching jobs...

I've been reading. I just don't think this is a very big issue. Ron did it habitually, intentionally, and publicly. This was clearly an accident.

I'm sure you have 4 years of eligibility left. Go out for the team and show us all how big of a man you are.

OK.....too bad none wanted the Griz job...

So you're happy with the hire? I admire your unwavering faith in Stitt. I just don't see it. Never have.

I think he'd be a decent OC. But HC/OC is way beyond his capabilities.

What is the big f***[*] deal? Everybody on planet Earth knows there is not a qb on this roster meant for this offense...Everybody also knows that Brady is either smoking hot or ice cold. Is it unfortunate that he made public a conversation meant to be private? Yes, it is...but he didn't say anything demeaning....just said his qb struggled in the playoff game. Brady is lucky he didn't tell it how it really was, struggled is the understatement of the year.

Agreed. I'm glad Stitt has the balls to make the necessary moves to field the best team possible.

I am just not jumping off the bridge after one season....and the bolded is why I take anything you post about Stitt with a grain of salt.....

Yes. And, damn, with all the recruiting travel after that grueling first season he's got to be exhausted. Cut the guy some slack.

If you don't think this offense would benefit from a more mobile QB, imagine any game this year, except the first one, and replace who ever was the QB with JJ.
