You've got it all wrong. After 8 more years of raising children, being married, adjusting to new jobs as his kids adjust to new schools, Bobby's become more mature, not "pussified."
It takes no courage to lose your temper, tell someone to f*ck off and let your ego and testoterone play too much of a role in your behavior and choices (NOT saying that describes past Bobby, just younger men in general). BH is speaking with diplomacy. He's wise and mature enough to address concerns of his detractors and start on the right foot. Knowing when to keep your mouth shut, being able to forgive past grudges and having the maturity to act deliberately rather than reacting emotionally is the antithesis of pussification; it's manly as f*uck.

I agree with your sentiments about BH, but would appreciate it if you could refrain from generalizing young men as people who lose tempers, tell people to f*** off, and let ego and testosterone play too large a role in their behavior and choices. It would be equally unfair to generalize young women using other very common adjectives and descriptions, and I don't subscribe to such generalizations.

I do apologize, CDA. No offense intended. I didn't even mean it as a negative quality in younger guys. I forget that we don't know each other well on here, so I need to be careful not to generalize. If you knew me, you'd understand that I'm quick with self-deprecating humor. I look at myself 8 years ago...and I was much like how I describe those younger men, minus the testosterone. We ALL learn to act more deliberately with maturity.

 I'm totally f***[*] with you. It was a great post.

Omg...

But, wasn't my response mature and wise? Give me credit for that and save it....I'll need it next time I'm an asshole.

Okay I'm glad you came back to this board. And I always appreciate a good f-bomb for emphasis!

Thank you! The f-bomb absolutely has its place in this world, no doubt!

The versatility of the F word is lost upon my wife...

First of all, several studies suggest that people who swear tend to be more intelligent than those who don't. (Sorry to f*cking generalize cussers, CDA) ;)

All fine traits. Exactly what I want in a rivals football coach, pretty much the definition of "pussified"

I’d rather have a general that can motivate his troops and get the job done than a berserker who is all fire, piss, and vinegar but can’t win consistently because he (or she) has no substance beyond being a bastard. Make no mistake, BH has pure unadulterated hatred towards you and your ilk over in Bozangeles. He hates losing and (if the past is any indicator) sees no value in “moral victories.” Unlike you felines, who see every loss as a moral victory.

His fire has changed with age and wisdom, but it’s there, hotter than ever.

This simp with numbers for a name, a sparse collection of synapses for a brain, and shrivelled grapes for balls is the stupid man’s idea of what a tough guy is … an oblivious, backward punk. I was opposed to Hauck getting the job, but it looks like he’s grown up … now, that’s what a real tough guy does … he grows up … and has the guts to admit he needed to.
