Over the prior two seasons, Montana's non-con schedules have consisted of no DIIs, with games against UNI (road), NDSU, Liberty (road) and Poly (road), and they have UNI and Western Ill (road) scheduled next year. I don't think Montana needs to apologize to anyone for their FSC scheduling.
It's the perfect schedule for a new QB who has never started a college football game. (IMO). One game to get his feet wet - get comfortable - exposed to game speed, etc. (He has played at Kentucky some) Next game probably a fire drill and lots' of learning and growing. Then one more game where he should be able to get comfortable in the offense before conference games begin. Hopefully, in a couple of the games the backups get some time as well. Possibly, the perfect schedule for this team this year. And best of all, all three games are against D1 football programs.
