TV for Valparaiso & Savannah

I feel for Griz fans. I can see scheduling one cupcake, but to schedule both Valpo and Savannah State in the same season would be tough to take as a fan. They are not only bad, they are horrible and should prove no challenge for the Griz. I would think Griz fans deserve more than a double dose of two games that provide no challenge.

Over the prior two seasons, Montana's non-con schedules have consisted of no DIIs, with games against UNI (road), NDSU, Liberty (road) and Poly (road), and they have UNI and Western Ill (road) scheduled next year. I don't think Montana needs to apologize to anyone for their FSC scheduling.

It's the perfect schedule for a new QB who has never started a college football game. (IMO). One game to get his feet wet - get comfortable - exposed to game speed, etc. (He has played at Kentucky some) Next game probably a fire drill and lots' of learning and growing. Then one more game where he should be able to get comfortable in the offense before conference games begin. Hopefully, in a couple of the games the backups get some time as well. Possibly, the perfect schedule for this team this year. And best of all, all three games are against D1 football programs.

That's kinda what I'm trying to say, hhb. SLO's a good poster and I'm not trying to pick on him but can you imagine if UM got CP's sched? It will never happen. People always argue that the BS is tougher than say late 90s, or that um came back to the pack, but I don't think the talent changed just the schedule (ignoring um's shitstorm)
Slo, you're not asking the question right: Asking if we are excited for Valpo/SS gets you nowhere. Of course we are. It's FCS football in the best setting in Merica. You should be asking: shouldn't uni/Colgate be more exciting than valpo/SS. And of course again. But that's not really the point of OOC

agree, with one exception, this year we do.

The bigger joke is how insanely soft the Cal Poly conference schedule is. CP plays NAU and no one else in the upper echelon of the league. Probably softer than UNDs schedule last year.

Is a cow polyester fan seriously trying to imply that their schedule is harder than ours?

You must have reading comprehension problems. I did not say that and I was not talking trash. Can you honestly say you are excited to see Valpo and Savannah State on your schedule?

I will say in the part of our schedule we had control of is way better than the part of your schedule your AD had control over. Just to be clear I am talking out of conference schedule. Colgate, San Jose State and Northern Iowa is certainly better than Valpo, Washington and Savannah State.
If you're going to accuse someone of "reading" deficits, at least learn to spell. And really, you're the one who needs to check yourself in that department. I did not accuse you of "saying" that; I said it seems like you were implying it--which you were/are.
"Excited" is a relative term. Like E.G. has been saying, it's better than a D2, so that's exciting. What's not exciting to me is some big sky team winning the conference without playing UM, MSU, and/or EWU. Total BS regardless of the OOC sched. So I'm glad your team already peed it's pants, much earlier than usual.
And what do you mean by "better" OOC? Certainly not total sargian rank, or dollars in the door. Ain't that the point of OOC: max profit and preparedness and minimize negatives
I find it funny that people say we have an easy Big Sky schedule because we do not play UM and MSU. Those two teams went a combined 5-11 in conference last year. I do however understand teams saying we have an easier Big Sky schedule because we are not playing EWU and UND. They went a combined 16-0 in conference last season.

As far as reading I do just fine. Spelling not so great sometimes. Especially when I am typing with my thumb on my phone.

Hey, if you are happy with Valpo and Savannah State, good for you. I am real happy you are happy. I am sure both are a much better challenge and more exciting for your fans than the McNeese State game that got canceled.

I am happy you are happy I am happy.
I am also happy we can agree that of the 13 BSC teams, yours has the easiest route to the conf crown. Why you would come on our board and insinuate that our sched sucks is dumb.
And your last sentence is just plain dumb too and makes you look trolly. You didn't even know about the McNeese deal

My take is, Montana is a FCS team, both Valpo and Savannah are FCS teams. It is what it is and if you don't like, then maybe FCS football isn't for you.
My take is: there's a bunch of dickhead Griz fans who are piling on one of the finest football fans I've had the pleasure of meeting. Y'all need to get off Slostangs ass...
