I kinda figured Richmond would show up in the poll, and Albany has been picking up votes right along. Bad losses by Harvard and SD State cost them. Query: Who voted for the Griz? :o

Maybe the coaches of teams that beat us to boost the quality of win over us? :|

Big Sky conf tough as nails - a good showing so far, I would assume barring a major collapse EWU, MSU, CPSLO, and NAU are all in.

How is Towson at #23 with a record of 3-5?
Actually, 3-4. Two of those losses were to FBS teams, one of which was LSU. The other two losses were to JMU (now #9) and ODU (#6). But even with that, it does look strange to have a ranked team with a losing record.

What's it gonna take for Cal Poly to crack the Top 10?

Beating NAU probably - CPSLO's schedule has been kind of soft.
Gets way tougher from here: Sac State, EWU, ISU, NAU. At least they don't get EWU and NAU back-to-back.

2506....I'm interested to see how the North Dakota passing attack does against the state college secondary. :thumb:

I doubt they will put up over 600 yards.

I doubt they will pass for that much as well. I can't imagine his arm will be feeling very good after throwing that much last week.

It will be interesting to see what they do against a real defense :thumb:

Cats will roll UND, but it won't be because of MSU's GREAT defense. The Cat secondary is a weak spot, and even a lot of posters on BN are saying so. Luckily, the Cat secondary is just mediocre, not horrid like UM's is. UND will get yards, but the fact is, the Cats just flat-out have a BETTER all-around team than UND.

I don't know that our secondary is a weak spot, but we will certainly know more about that on Saturday. Against EWU we FINALLY had our starting front seven in the game playing together for the first time all season, got enough of a pass rush to where their QB struggled a bit and we more or less shut down their passing attack relative to what they've been doing to all other teams. If we are able to limit UND to around 250 yards passing I will be very happy with that performance.

Soft for the Big Sky but has to have a better SOS than Lehigh at #8 (who has only played teams from the weaker conferences - Patriot, Big South, Ivy League, and the NEC). In fact, Lehigh's best win arguably is a two point victory at Liberty.

In comparison, Cal Poly has played (and beat) a FBS team on the road, an admittedly soft San Diego team, and all other games were against Big Sky opponents. Would Lehigh even have a winning record if they were in the BSC? We don't know that answer for certain, but I could tell you my guess...
