Win out and the polls will take care of themselves. Eastern would be a huge win to jump in the polls (Griz would be highest rated BSC team) and if MSU beats ISU and remains in the teens then that will be another potential good looking win. The opportunity is there for the Griz to put together an impressive final 3 games and make a run at a seed. Can't complain about that.

I'm confused why Harvard is ranked in this poll when they don't even participate in the playoffs. :?:

FCS poll, not a playoff poll...happens in the formerly BCS polls with teams that aren't eligible.

Fordham doesn't belong that high. Period.
I'm not sure Youngstown should be that high, either. Which would put Montana at 10 in my book.
The rest, whatever, I'm hoping the Griz get home cooking in the playoffs.

Regardless, it all comes down to taking care of business.

Honest question, but what do you really know about Fordham and YSU?

No offense taken. I've just followed the FCS for a couple of decades, so my opinion -- and it's just an opinion -- is based on watching the FCS for a long time, plus looking at the teams w/l records this year. Fordham hasn't beaten anybody very good. And while I respect the history of the Penguins, they also haven't exactly beaten good teams (I guess Missouri State is a big win, however?). So, I just think their win-loss record exaggerates how good those two teams really are. And I would move them behind our warm/cold Griz and the Griz would be at number ten in my book.

So my next question would be, what good teams have the Griz beat?

That's fair. I think our schedule is simply harder than theirs. And our general level of competition is higher than theirs. And let's consider, I'm stacking those three teams 10, 11, 12, not 6, 18, 24 or something.

This is why we have playoffs, to settle it on the field.
