TSN Picks Week 6

to be fair, in his head EVERY team the cats have played over the last hundred years have beaten us more than we have beaten them....not just the griz. :thumb:

And here I was going to make some smart ass post like "Well, at least he's mostly right" and then show that most of the teams who have played the cats HAVE beaten them more than they've lost to them.

Unfortunately that's not the case... 47 of the 117 have won more than they've lost against the cats. 11 have won the same amount (or tied once), and 59 have lost more to the cats than they've won... fucking stats ruining my smart ass post :(

At least he is right about the cats frequently having a middle/end of season collapse :)

Anyway, I think the Cats should handle UC Davis pretty easy.

the kitties had a fair team in 2006. in fact it was one of their best in recent history. They ended up making the playoffs and lost a Quarter final game at App St. that year, ending up 8-5 with two playoff games. They did have a little problem early on in the season including their homecoming game against Cal Davis a loss with a score of 45-ZIP. yet, most kitty fans felt the kittens would win easily going into that game.
Every cat fan that thought the kittens would win, proved going in, what a moron fan base is capable of.

Do you even care about the Griz or do you just hate the Cats as much as Cat fans hate the Griz?

This also makes me LOL. How many players/coaches from that 2006 team are still with the program?

I'm Glad you asked!

I love the Griz, but my MO is to act like a kitten fan and I try not to make a post that doesn't show how petty most cat fans act. (I just turn around just about anything found posted on kittynation) :msugrad:

No way msu loses to ucd.

Now Cal Poly....

Yeah...Cal Poly looks damn good this year. Chances are they beat Weber today, and their remaining schedule looks pretty winnable barring maybe EWU and NAU (both away games for Poly too). I'm glad we don't play Poly this year....or NAU for that matter.

We are fortunate to have a relatively easy schedule this year.

first, i love posts where it is not possible to back up your claims. most of us felt the cats would win easily? you have anyway to prove that? i guess i could say that most fans thought you'd beat nau easily this year. shows what morons you are. of course...i would have no way of proving that.

and for those of us who thought we would win were morons? why? because davis was so good that year? did't they finish the year 6-5 or something? that was also the year we beat colorado and got emberrassed at home against d2 chadron. so of course many of us assumed that game was a fluke and we'd pull out a victory against davis on homecoming. you know...kinda like you guys thought you should have beat app so you KNEW you'd beat nau? oh crap. well nau was a fluke so you just knew you would take it to ewu! oh no.

that '06 season was a roller coaster though. beat cu. lose 3 straight, all at home. then rattled off 5 in a row before losing a close one in missoula.

what i find very entertaining is that you think a game 6 years ago has any relevence to tomorrow's game. i think griz fans, more than anyone else right now, should understand that games years ago just might not translate into wins and losses this year.... :o

i'll save you some time......

Hope you don't mind if I save it for a future response.

So, what you were saying is that there won't be any kitty fans talking about the outcome of the Griz /kitty game from a couple of years ago in Missoula and Halloween Costumes? You know how past performance has no bearing on current behavior and such

nope, i'm not saying that at all. people will always talk trash about the past. more so when the present is bad and future bleak. however, you picked the cats to lose and pointed out to when we lost to them in '06. had you said the cats would lose and suggested why you thought this years team would lose based on what you have seen from them so far that would make complete sense.

however, saying that the cats have lost to davis more than they've won, (not true) and using a beating we took 6 years ago as evidence doesn't stack up. if you're going to do that why didn't you use last years outcome between the two teams? while it has nothing to do with this year, it seems more relevent as many of the coaches and players are the same. but that wouldn't work would it?

What we've seen so far this year of the cats, is they've eeked out a few close games against some

The kittens are just entering the tougher part of there season and will have a few down games before they are completely embarrassed again on Nov 17th :thumb:

maybe. it has nothing to do with what we were talking about but without my crystal ball i have no idea what will happen. we could easily have some "down" games. some could even be losses. :o

I can't decide if I want the Cats to be undefeated when we play them, or if it's for a share of the conference title.

Since you're so obsessed with cupcakes, what is the overall combined record of the griz's two victories this year???

Oh yeah, 1-7 Yikes
