Trumaine Johnson

Really cool for him. Tru came here as a receiver but Bobby wanted him to switch to corner. He really did not want to but Bobby got his way, bet Tru has thanked him a few times. Bobby can see talent in his players.

I hadn’t realized that he hasn’t allowed a TD in coverage all year... that’s kind of insane

One thing I noticed when the Rams played the Vikings is that the Vikings rarely threw to Tru's side of the field!

Yah I’ve watched a few rams games this season and this seems to be a trend. It brings me back to when he was Here and didn’t accumulate much stats but that’s because no one challenged him.

Even armanti edwards and Brian quick couldn’t get the job done

The one thing that disappoints me is the fact that Trumaine has not given back to the University any of his new found wealth.

How would you know if he has or has not given to the University?

It is none of our business as to who gives how much to whatever or whomever.
As for Tru, I am happy for him. I enjoy following him on social media as well. I do know he spends a lot of time with youth, likely he spends a lot of money for them as well.

As for what he gives or does not give to the university, I wouldn't blame him if he has some anguish, frustration, disappointment, hatred, and mixed emotions regarding his GRIZ experience. On the field, I am sure he enjoyed every moment. Off the field, some fans and community members were total assholes to him. A few people painted a very bad picture of him, and said some very harsh things of him, many of those things were not true. He is still young. Chances are, he won't have the opportunity to appreciate the great things from his time as a GRIZ, until his football playing days are well behind him. There is a lot of life for him to still experience away from the football field.

For those of us who feel he should contribute to the U of Montana, maybe it would help if some of us actually took the time to let him know we support him and are pulling for him. It might help if some people would apologize to him and/or his family for being assholes to the kid. I honestly don't and won't blame him, if he never gives a cent back. More power to him, if he does decide to become a contributor. Overall, Tru has become a very solid person and is doing great things.
