Trumaine Johnson #4 rated CB going into NFL Combine

If he's really the #4 CB in the draft, he won't last until the 3rd round.
In 2011, 3 CB's went in the 1st round, 4 in the 2nd.
In 2010, 5 went in the 1st round, 2 in the 2nd.
That doesn't include safeties, which Johnson could also probably play.

He'll be gone by pick 60.

Denver is needing depth, and youth, at CB and Safety. Trumaine can play either. Perfect fit is in Denver. I am hoping this because I am in Denver.

Johnson played against Barden of CP, a 3rd round draft choice, in his first game at corner (as a true frosh). Defended him well, except for 1 early mistake resulting in a td. Of course, Barden hasn't set the world on fire in the NFL. He played against Tenn. My recollection is that the long Tenn td's were not Johnson's problem. This lesser-competition concern is why I thought he might get invited to the senior or other similar all-star game. Hope he performs well this week,

McShay said he has the biggest upside of any DB/LB in the draft. I'm thinking somebody takes a risk on him in the 2nd round.

Nope, but I think he's good enough to play in the NFL--if he gets a chance.

on is a big kid at 6-2, 205 pounds and has talent but was arrested during the season and declined a Senior Bowl invite saying he was not ready. It’s hard to believe any prospect could not be ready for something as prestigious as the Senior Bowl.

Now he has him as a guy who went from a third-fourth round grade to a guy who has questions to answer just to make sure he is even drafted despite the potential to be a starter at some point.

He is pretty high on McSturdy though:

This is a no brainer selection after he was not considered a prospect last spring coming off just a second-team All-Big Sky season with 4.8 speed. McSurdy appeared to be more of a 4.7 speed guy and was a first-team All-American who played like a mad man in the playoffs finishing the 2011 season with 130 tackles.

With the success of former Montana players like Kroy Biermann, Dan Carpenter, Colt Anderson, Marc Marianai and others, make sure to keep an eye out on this fast rising prospect.

guy doesn't have a clue on TJ. Yes he will have to answer questions about what happened, however, Jenoris Jenkins is still projected as a high draft pic and he had 3 run-ins at Florida before he went to North Alabama. Fighting just to get drafted? I don't think so.
