True Freshmen Playing next year

Looks like the Grizzlies are potentially filling a lot of holes with this years recruiting class. They lost a ton on the defensive line with Wags,Takai, and Rehm graduating. Crittenden, Kidder, Peevey, and Holmes will all be back to shore up the front 4 but I see that they now have a couple of dinosaurs verballed to come to Missoula next season. Mau Enu 285 lbs and 3 star Kyon Clark 320 lbs :shock: add in 3 star defensive end Cody Baker. Are these kids going to be good enough to play next year as true Freshmen? The same could be said about the offensive line recruits that are verballed to come to Montana. These kids are 2 and 3 star recruits that weigh 290, 290, and 275 lbs! You see some redshirt Freshmen playing on the D line and the O line every now and then but not usually true Freshmen playing at those positions. It will be interesting to see if these kids sign to play for the Grizzlies and push for playing time next season.

I like where your going but let these kids sighning their LOI's 1st. Now is the time these kids really start to get offers from the big schools.

I'd bet the first thing a 320 pound prep going FCS will do is lose weight and get used to going up against other 300 pound linemen, something he only occasionally did in high school.
