Johnson set the tone early with his pick-six, and then he curbed another Indianapolis drive by stripping the ball from T.Y. Hilton and recovering the fumble. Now in his sixth season, Johnson has emerged as one of the best shut-down corners in the league. But unfortunately, that will likely limit his fantasy upside, as opposing offenses look to avoid him and target softer down-field matchups. As a result, Johnson will probably have difficulty posting anything better than serviceable fantasy numbers most weeks.

There are two kinds of college recruits.Those that are good but don't have a huge upside or their trajectory isn't off the charts and then there are the ones that their "best days" are ahead of them. Tru is the 2nd type. At 6' 2", I don't think he's reached his ceiling yet. He's done nothing but gotten better since he arrived on UM's campus.....

I completely agree. Looking back at his GRIZ career, it was rather amazing. He had 1 terrible half, which was the 1st half of his 1st game against Cal Poly. Barden initiated him well. However, he rebounded well in the 2nd half and kept Barden in check. I honestly don't recall any WR owning him after that. He was the GRIZ version of Dion Sanders. He consistently took away opposing #1 WR's for his whole career.
To me, it looks like he may have the GRIZ best NFL player. He also represents himself, his family, and his university very well off the field. The man spends countless hours doing charity events, especially working with youth. He also seems to have some pretty strong religious beliefs. Keep it up, Tru! :thumb:
