He may not be durable enough for NFL
Isn’t the average NFL career around 3 years? He may not be durable enough for NFL
If he gets cut I’m sure he’d get another shot elsewhere.I’ve been a Falcons fan for years and he will more than likely be cut. In the past 2 years he has missed 25 games. He’s balled out occasionally, but definitely a bust considering he was selected in the 2nd round. I believe they thought he was going to be the 2nd coming of Luke Kuekley, but he’s far from it.
Exactly what I was going to say. They say RBs have miles pre NFL. Unfortunately for TA, he had RB miles before the NFL.I'm sure the intelligent way he was used (up) in college didn't help.
I think you’re spot on regarding Troy. In the few games when he has been healthy he definitely proved his worth. It’s a damn shame that he was totally abused by the cat coaching staff. Just looking at his combine numbers plus his work ethic he could have been all pro. Not many Montana kids could say that. I believe, don’t quote me on this, but I seem to remember his parents being very upset with the cat coaching staff for abusing his talents.I'm sure the intelligent way he was used (up) in college didn't help.
I'll never forget watching him during Choate's last year. He was genuinely a good kid, and you should hear some of the kids that went to school with him rave about how he treated people who were not exactly considered cool. It was painful to watch him limp out onto the field, and then they would just run him straight into the middle of the line for a couple of yards, and he would limp back off the field. The way they used him was ugly and sad. Can’t stay healthy. No thanks to Choate and what the coaching staff put him through at MSU. Almost as bad as covering up DUIs.
what this dude said. they created an all new verb with the way they used him up. in fact the cats sort of "troyandersened" tommy for the first few years of his cat career.I'm sure the intelligent way he was used (up) in college didn't help.
Not only that, but there were times Troy begged the coaches to let him go back in and pick up the yards needed but the coaches had to shut him down because of the beating he was taking... despite whatever false narratives are pushed on here.Football isnt a sport for everyone. Players have a choice to play or not to play and Troy manned up and played. He is a good guy, I really liked talking to him the few times we have had conversations.
CDA's sources say that isn't true. Not only that, but there were times Troy begged the coaches to let him go back in and pick up the yards needed but the coaches had to shut him down because of the beating he was taking... despite whatever false narratives are pushed on here.
