Tripp 2nd team and Wags 3rd Team. What a year for Wags. Also Congrats to Owens and Schreibeis on 1st Team D. That's impressive for the Cats.

Brandan Kaufman second team All-American? This can't be true!!!!

Credibility is lost.

There several things I know: get lots of rest, forgive others, keep moving, and Brandon Kaufman is a first-team All-American.

Big mistake by the selectors. They are either: biased, don't research their selections very well, or lack the knowledge to make correct selections. As a Griz fan I am disappointed.

If I was an Eastern fan I would thoroughly pissed and delighted to use this information as Bulletin Board material for the team.

I think North Dakota State fans will be more furious since their #1 defense only produced one All-American this year.... :coffee:

Jody Owens better than Jordan Tripp????
Owen's replacement Friday night was better than he. Tripp could have had a better year than he did; I'm not so uncomfortable with that. However, no place for Kistler is totally bogus.

Pointed out before and I haven't seen the first team WRs play, but you would have a hard time convincing me they are better than Kaufman.

Tripp is a solid player. He would have received more recognition if he didnt play on a losing team. He'll be a wrecking ball next year as well, hopefully he gets some help.

I have no problem where Kaufman was selected. The people doing this obviously did their homework and didnt buy into the self indulgent hype

Tripp spent the ENTIRE 2nd half of the NAU game on his back. He couldn't shed anyone that game. However his speed allowed him to make some LARGE plays this year.

Since he had 12 tackles in that game, 2 for loss and a sack, I was there and watched and I don't agree with this statement.

I'll buy that. Kaufman is a beast and I, for one, hope he goes pro this year so the Griz don't have to deal with him this fall.
